nice to see a movie use it only when necessary. It played up natural fear of the unknown. It gave you little hints throughout, letting you use your imagination until towards the end when they revealed the true nature of things. Most movies now day based on the same plot would focus more on cool action scenes depicting buildings/cities being blown up by spaceships leaving little to the imagination. Often times its seems like they say hey, we've got this great special effects scene that took 3 years to make, action figurines, happy meal toys and t-shirts....think we can bang together a plot in the next 2 weeks? Don't get me wrong, i do computer graphics myself. I just think it should be a pathway to help convey the plot, not the basis for it. But since this isnt Movie "poop shoot.com" im going to shut up now. I respect your opinion to dislike it. To each his own.
